If you’ve stopped into Tone Tailors anytime over the last few years, there’s a good chance you found us in one of the most unique and innovative spots on the East Coast — the Rock Lititz Campus. It’s been our home base, our community, and our creative playground for the past several years. But as all good gigs must eventually wrap up, we’re packing up and making the move back to downtown Lancaster.
Before we load the last guitar stand and roll the final amp case out the door, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what this campus has meant to us and why it’s still one of the best-kept secrets in the live event and production world.
A Creative Community Unlike Any Other
For anyone who’s never wandered onto the Rock Lititz Campus — this place is a production wonderland. Spread across 108 acres of perfectly curated, purpose-built space, the campus is home to some of the biggest names in live event production, streaming, and entertainment. It’s not just a group of warehouses and offices; it’s an entire ecosystem designed to take ideas from concept to showtime.
From the massive, jaw-dropping Studio 1 and Studio 2 rehearsal spaces (seriously, you could park a fleet of tour buses inside) to the more intimate studios and production suites, Rock Lititz is where world tours, televised events, and unforgettable shows are built — piece by piece, cable by cable.
And we got to be part of that.
Being neighbors with production giants like Clair Global, TAIT Towers, Atomic, and DiGiCo wasn’t just cool — it was inspiring. You can’t help but level up when you’re grabbing coffee next to the folks designing the next Taylor Swift tour or walking past Grammy-winning engineers headed to a session down the hall.
Collaboration & Creativity at Its Core
The entire Rock Lititz Campus is built around one simple but powerful idea: Community fuels creativity. And they practice what they preach.
The campus isn’t just about rehearsing stadium shows; it’s about collaboration at every level. Between the vendor pods, the production rehearsal spaces, the Hotel Rock Lititz (which became our go-to lunch spot more than once), and the public community spaces, it was always clear that Rock Lititz was designed to bring people together.
At Tone Tailors, we benefited from that energy every day. Whether we were setting up a local musician with a new pedalboard, consulting on a touring rig, or just chatting gear with the crew from Mickey’s Black Box, the vibe was always the same — creative people helping creative people do what they do best.
A Shoutout to the Studios
If you’ve never seen inside the Rock Lititz Studios, you’re missing out. These rehearsal spaces are purpose-built production monsters.
- Studio 1: 30,000 square feet of uninterrupted space, 80 feet to the grid, 500-ton load capacity — it’s a literal playground for production professionals.
- Studio 2: A slightly smaller sibling at 25,000 square feet, but no less impressive, with a custom Front of House mezzanine and all the bells and whistles.
- Studios 3, 4, and 5 offer more intimate rehearsal environments — perfect for bands, dancers, and smaller productions that need a place to lock in and perfect their craft.
These spaces aren’t just giant empty rooms. They’re loaded with top-tier power infrastructure, dressing rooms, production offices, and the best hospitality in the industry. There’s a reason why the biggest acts in the world rehearse right here in Lititz, Pennsylvania — and we were lucky enough to be right in the middle of it.
If you’re in the live event, touring, or production world and you’ve never tapped into the Rock Lititz Campus for your next project, we can’t recommend it enough. Whether you need rehearsal space, industry connections, or just want to experience the most supportive, innovative production community around, this is where production starts.

So… Why Are We Moving?
If you’ve followed us for a while, you know our mission has always been to equip and inspire musicians. And while we’ve loved being part of the high-production world at Rock Lititz, we felt the pull to get back to our roots — literally.
We’re thrilled to announce that we’re moving back to downtown Lancaster. This next chapter of Tone Tailors is all about being closer to the community, more accessible to our local players, and bringing that same world-class service and expertise back to the heart of the city.
We’re not leaving behind the relationships, knowledge, or experience we gained at Rock Lititz — far from it. Everything we learned, every connection we made, and every lesson from our time on campus is coming with us.
And we’re still here to help you tailor your tone.
Whether you’re a weekend warrior, a working musician, or prepping for a world tour — we’ve got your back.
